Idea

With the help of the avaiable Linux client update (http://www.rune-soft.com/downloads/ankh-linux-x86-1.1.bin) we could build a installer for the Windows version of Ankh and the Ankh Special Edition.

Achievements

We have a full running installer based on our setup_dummy_gtk2 for the German version of Ankh and also the SE version.

Problem

The files fscommand/AnkhSetup_ger_se.exe and Ankh-Setup.exe on the respective installation DVD are NSIS files. The only tool we found which is abled to extract such kind of files is 7-Zip but it does not work that well, so you can play the game only with some serious glitches. To be exact we use P7zip.

Possible solutions

improve the bugreport (maybe test with 7-Zip and also report the problem there)
find a other tool to extract NSIS files
